Photography contest ARGUS-2021. Photography Among the Arts

ARGUS-2021 aimed to reveal the creative potential of contemporary photographers of different generations in Russia, support their creative searches, and create a platform for their communication with viewers.

The contest aimed to present how the visual, plastic, performing and technological arts are embodied by means of contemporary photography in Russia.

The competition was held among photographers in 5 nominations:

1. Sign. Image. Space.

2. Sound. Rhythm. Music. Time.

3. The word and its embodiment. Theatre. Literature. Poetry.

4. Temple of the Arts. Votaries of arts. Fans.

5. Nomination for photographers under the age of 18, embodying images of other forms of art.

The winners announcement, award ceremony, as well as an exhibition of works by the winners and awardees took place in February 2022, within the framework of the XV International Winter Festival of Arts in Sochi.

For this contest I developed website architecture, terms of reference for contest graphic design. Prepared documents and regulations, assisted to the jury members. Also I interacted with participants and winners, prepared works for the final exhibition and made some sketches for exhibition architecture. I edited online catalog and provided newsletters and PR support as well.
